Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 15, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Tennis Fantasy (“we”, “us”) collects, uses, and protects your personal data when you use our fantasy tennis platform (the “Service”). We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your data in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and other applicable laws. By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here.
1. Who We Are
Tennis Fantasy is the data controller responsible for your personal data. If you have any questions about this policy or how we handle your information, you can reach us at [email protected].
2. Data We Collect
We collect the following categories of data:
- Account data: your email address, username, display name, and — if you sign in with a third-party provider (Google or Apple) — the basic profile information they share with us.
- Profile data: optional information you choose to add, such as your country, avatar, and favorite tour (ATP or WTA).
- Gameplay data: the fantasy teams you create, captains, leagues and clubs you join, and your points and rankings.
- User content: forum posts, comments, and league or team names you submit.
- Technical data: IP address, device and browser type, and usage information collected automatically to keep the Service secure and working.
3. How We Use Your Data
We use your data to:
- create and manage your account and authenticate you;
- operate core gameplay features such as teams, leagues, scoring, and leaderboards;
- display your public profile, rankings, and content to other users;
- maintain the security, integrity, and fair play of the Service;
- respond to your requests and provide support;
- improve and develop new features.
4. Legal Bases for Processing
Under the GDPR, we rely on the following legal bases:
- Performance of a contract — to provide the Service you signed up for;
- Legitimate interests — to keep the Service secure, prevent abuse, and improve it;
- Consent — where required, for example for optional communications, which you can withdraw at any time.
5. Public Information
Certain information is public by design so the game works: your username, display name, country, avatar, fantasy teams, rankings, and any content you post in forums, leagues, or clubs may be visible to other users. Please avoid sharing sensitive personal information in these areas.
6. Sharing & Service Providers
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with trusted service providers who help us run the Service under appropriate confidentiality and data-protection obligations, including:
- Supabase — our hosting, database, and authentication provider, which stores your account and gameplay data;
- Authentication providers — Google and Apple, if you choose to sign in with them.
We may also disclose data where required by law, to enforce our Terms & Conditions, or to protect the rights and safety of our users.
7. International Transfers
Your data may be processed on servers located outside your country of residence, including outside the European Economic Area. Where this happens, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses to ensure your data remains protected.
8. Data Retention
We keep your personal data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal data within a reasonable period, except where we are required to retain certain information to comply with legal obligations or resolve disputes.
9. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. You may exercise most of these rights directly in your account settings, or by contacting us at [email protected]. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.
10. Cookies & Local Storage
We use cookies and similar technologies (such as browser local storage) that are strictly necessary to keep you signed in, remember your preferences (like your selected tour), and keep the Service secure. We do not use them for third-party advertising.
11. Children's Privacy
The Service is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will take steps to delete it.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
13. Contact
For any privacy-related questions or requests, contact us at [email protected].
